Trevor Pickett, our founder and president, is a 24-year veteran of the US Navy/Navy Reserves and believes whole-heartedly in the United States Constitution. The Second Amendment gives US citizens the right to keep and bear arms. This right affords law-abiding citizens the right to self defense which, in most states, includes the right to concealed carry. Trevor believes this right is for ALL law-abiding citizens, not just the people who can afford high-dollar guns and holsters.
Gold Star Holsters utilizes a CO2 laser during the manufacture of several of products in the holster line. Custom laser engraving is available on both weapons and custom flasks and creates permanent lettering or graphics. Engraved markings can only be removed by scratching the actual metal. Hydrochloride acid is the only chemical capable of removing the image. Engraving also withstands heat up to 1800 degrees Fahrenheit.
“The man I am today is due in part to my time spent in United States Navy. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about and honor our men and women of the armed forces, first responders (including police and fire protection) who protect our rights and the great country we live in. For this reason a portion of all sales are donated to the Lone Survivor Foundation.” ~ Trevor Pickett
The Lone Survivor Foundation was established in February 2010 by retired Navy SEAL, Marcus Luttrell, who was awarded the Navy Cross after his actions during Operation RED WINGS which he describes in the NY Times best-seller, Lone Survivor, the Eyewitness Account of Operation RED WINGS and SEAL Team 10. His experience serves as the catalyst for the formation of the foundation and his vision to give back to those who serve. The Lone Survivor Foundation restores, empowers and renews hope for our wounded warriors and their families through health, wellness, and therapeutic support.
